Located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh in India, DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, was started in 1950. The institution has as many as 25 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which include traditional programs like BA, BSc, BCom, LLB, and professional ones such as BEd, BCA, and BBA. The admissions to the different courses in DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, shall be strictly based on merit, occasions, and marks secured in the qualifying examinations. However, in a few courses, such as Science and Management streams, admission may also be made through entrance examinations or any other selection process as adopted by the State Government/UT administration, and the University.

B.Ed
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
BA
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
LLB
- Seeking admission into 3-year law course qualifications needed are only 12th and three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into 3-year law course,
- The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
- And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
