The Department of Post Graduate Legal Studies, People’s University, Bhopal “is a constituent college of People’s University located at Bhanpur, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh”. This institution provides postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in law and sciences for those students who are determined to focus on certain specific areas. As a department within a large university system it still insists on giving quality education and training for legal studies and related fields.
The Department of Post Graduate Legal Studies has well equipped campus where all necessary amenities have been provided necessary for proper learning. Available facilities include a library, well stocked with legal assortment of texts and students resources. To students who choose law as their academic direction, CSU’s moot court facility helps them gain firsthand experience on the actual procedure on a court of law and also argumentation. The institution also understands this as it has provided friendly structures such as sports amenities and gym for the purposes of body building. An auditorium is used for academic purposes such as meetings, seminars, dinners, and special cultural programmes to enhance the school spirit of the university. The college also helps the students to drive with car parks, Information Technology infrastructures, and a shop to purchase daily requirements.
The above mentioned courses are offered by the Department of Post Graduate Legal Studies for a total of six courses, of which two are at postgraduate and the rest at undergraduate level. These courses are offered across three types of degrees, to enable the students make their choices in the field of law and sciences. Everything that is offered is full time courses and this aims at giving the students deep understanding and hands on approach to the actual practice of the various courses completed.
