Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT) is a part of the Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Founded in 2005, DBIT has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past 18 years and is now known as Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU). The DBIT is affiliated with Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The DBIT Dehradun courses offer undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes in various specialisations including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, BTech (Lateral Entry), and MCA (Lateral Entry) programmes. Candidates interested in applying for DBIT admission must meet the DBIT eligibility criteria for their desired course. The candidates should appear for the relevant entrance examination which includes JEE Main/CAT/MAT/GATE/XAT/UKSEE or equivalent examination.
DBIT Dehradun has a dedicated placement cell on campus that handles all placement activities. DBIT Dehradun Placement Cell offers on-campus interviews and summer internships for students. The university also provides a variety of facilities for students and staff. DBIT Dehradun Facilities include academic blocks, workshops, laboratories, faculty rooms, an auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs, a library, a canteen, and sports and recreation facilities. All of these amenities are spread across the university’s lush green 42-acre campus.
