Dhabaleswar Institute of Polytechnic, Cuttack was established in 2006, situated in Radhadamodarpur of Odisha is a well known technical college. This affiliated college established and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides various diploma courses in engineering streams. The institute is spread over an enlarged area of 3 acres and has an overall strength of 1,004 students and 80 faculties. Due to its focus in technical education, Dip Cuttack offers its students five distinct diploma courses that can be pursued in engineering field.
Dhabaleswar Institute of Polytechnic feels proud to provide a range of facilities that may support students’ learning process. The campus has two different hostels for male and female students, which provides living facilities for those who stay in the campus. A well-endowed library is the main storehouse of knowledge; sophisticated laboratories meet practical requirements throughout the department. Current concepts of education are facilitated by IT solutions and extra facilities include an auditorium for academic/cultural purposes. For the over all personality development DIP Cuttack has sports facility and gym. That also has such amenities as a cafeteria, a health centre equipped with first aid facilities, and a convenience store. Also for the transport facilities their institute facilitate the students and staff who commute, along with there is proper parking place is provided.
All the programmes are full time diploma programmes and the college offers a total of five such programmes including an automotive engineering programme- Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering etc.. These programmes can be practised across all the engineering fields as the departments offer a wide range of options for students in regards to technical specialisation.
