Dhali Institute of Teacher Education, Hasnabad, or DITE, was founded in the year 2016 at Chaltaberia, Murarisha, Hasnabad, North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is a co-educational institution approved by NCTE, which speaks volumes about the institution's high standards in the field of teacher education. The institute sprawls over a compact campus of 1 acre amidst an ideal learning environment, providing an apt setting to its 275 enrolled students. There are 13 members on the faculty, so the student-to-teacher ratio is very conducive for personal attention and guidance at DITE.
Multiplicity of facilities is working towards betterment in the learning process and overall development of pupils. The library is a treasure house for learning. There are more than 6,000 books on all subjects written by famous writers. DITE believes in making optimum use of technology, proven through the IT infrastructure consisting of a well-equipped computer lab with more than 50 computers updated with the latest software. High-speed Wi-Fi internet connectivity further enhances the campus and helps students be connected and updated of resources online. It also offers sports facilities and a gym for physical well-being.
DITE offers two regular courses of teacher education. Among them, one is B.Ed. and another is D.El. Ed. The duration of both the courses is two years. And both will lead to a teaching profession in different educational levels of the students.

Admission to Dhali Institute of Teacher Education shall be made purely on the basis of merit, counting marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.The Institute follows the admission policy prescribed by the State Government of West Bengal and the affiliating University.

B.Ed
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
D.El.Ed
Candidates with at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.
