Doon Institute of Education, Rishikesh, was established in the year 2004 as an affiliated college in the enchanting state of Uttarakhand, India. The institute spreads over 15 acres; accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education. The faculty strength of the institution is 6, and the student enrollment is 90. There is one degree program that is currently running under the aegis of Doon Institute of Education, and that caters to the aspiring educators in the region.
Various facilities are available in the institute to enhance the learning experience of its students. The admission process of Doon Institute of Education is merit-based, marks in the qualifying examination, and /or entrance examination. Admission would be made as per the policy of the state government of Uttarakhand or affiliated university, whichever is applicable.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
