DP Vipra Law College, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, was established in the year 1989 and is one of the premier legal institutions in the city. This associated college was approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and has been helping to develop the legal brains since 1989. The institution has a bevy of facilities that help the students in the pursuance of knowledge. At the heart of these centres is a well-stocked library with an enormous collection of 8,833 books and 1,090 journals. In addition to that, DP Vipra Law College mines the library with internet-enabled access to AIR, that is, All India Reporter, and SCC, that is Supreme Court Cases, thus keeping legal material at the doorstep of students. One of the prominent features of the college is that the Moot Court Hall is designed on the model of a real courtroom. Physically, the college has sports facilities that propagate a balanced approach toward education.

List of courses offered is as follows: An exhaustive list of the courses on the subject of law, under different specialisations falling under this field, the college presents seven full-time courses, both undergraduate and postgraduate in the said field. At the undergraduate level, the college offers a three-year LLB programme with 320 seats, a five-year BA LLB integrated course with 120 seats, and a five-year B.Com LLB programme with 60 seats. The postgraduate degree it offers is an LLM with an intake capacity of 20 seats. It also provides three one-year Postgraduate Diploma courses, the PGD in Administrative Law, the PGD in Labour Law, and the PGD in Criminology and Law of Crimes, each of which has 30 seats.

Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
