Dr. BR Ambedkar Law College was founded in 1991 and is headed by the chairman W. Mohammed Ali, it is one of the well-known legal education college in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college holds the BCI approval and has been producing such legal professionals for over thirty years now. As a college, it occupies a limited space of 2.1 acre with 754 student enroled with the institution. The institute has 19 regular members in its faculty; the student-teacher ratio is also ideal, which means students get more attention.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Law College are various facilities that are spread across the college that helps in improving the learning and development of the students. Thus the Admission for the LLB programme shall be based on the merit in the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET). Consequent on the same, admission is offered purely on merit from this entrance examination and as per the statutory quotas for various categories. The college also considers the TS PGLCET (Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test) for the admission into the postgraduate programme.

- Seeking admission to 3-year law course qualifications needed are only 12th and three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course,
The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
BA LLB
- Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
- The qualifications of the 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method). And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category
