Dr. D.Y. Patil Unitech Society's D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pune was established in the year 1997 at Tathawade, Pune is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. This affiliated college has two specialised programs in hospitality management, catering to a total student enrolment of 225. With a faculty strength of 21, this institute can boast of a very favourable student-to-teacher ratio. The admission process to its different programmes in Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology varies. To be eligible for admission to the BHMCT programme, a candidate shall have to appear for the Online Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH BHMCT CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Candidates who manage to obtain non-zero marks in MAH BHMCT CET shall seek admissions to the above course. The institute would adhere to the DTE rules and guidelines for admission. Admission to B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies is at the institute level and strictly on the basis of scores obtained in HSC (12th standard).

(Std XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science/Home Science Commerce/Arts/MCVC with English as one of the subject and secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for reserved class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
BBA Hospitality
Candidate should have passed the H.S.C. (Std XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science/Home Science Commerce/Arts/MCVC and secured Minimum 45% marks in aggregate for Open category (40% marks in aggregate for reserved class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
B.Sc Hospitality Studies
Candidate should have passed the H.S.C. (Std XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science/Home Science Commerce/Arts/MCVC with English as one of the subjects and secured a Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Open category (45% marks in aggregate for reserved class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
