GES Polytechnic College started in 2008 at Vill Lohar Kangna, P.O Nainowal Jattan, Hoshiarpur, Punjab as affiliated college. It provides a number of diploma programs in engineering fields for the students who want to pursue their education in technical stream. GES Polytechnic College is salient in its approach to student enrolment with a total enrolment of 155 students and a faculty of forty four members. Currently, the college provides five full time diploma courses in single degree programme, each of which specialises in a particular engineering discipline.
It also has several facilities to compliment the learning and teaching process of the students who attend college. Data gathered from the specific departmental laboratories show that practical experience is given to the students to apply theoritical knowledge practically. A good library provides books for needs of both teaching and learning as well as books for research. The college also boasts some of the best Information Technology in the region: this prepares the students with modern technologic advancement in their various areas of discipline.
