Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati was established in the year 2007 under the Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA). The institute is approved by the AICTE and is recognised by PCI and UGC. The institute is accredited by NBA and is affiliated to Girijananda Chowdhury University. The institute offers various courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. These courses include D.Pharma, B.Pharma, M.Pharma and PhD courses.
