Established in the year 1963, Goa College of Pharmacy Panaji is a government institution and is widely renowned as GCP Panaji. The institute has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) as well as by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Goa College of Pharmacy is affiliated with Goa University, Taleigao Plateau, Goa. Goa College of Pharmacy Panaji courses include Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level programmes in the disciplines of Pharmacy in full-time mode.
Goa College of Pharmacy B.Pharma course is covered at UG level whereas Diploma, M.Pharma and Ph.D programmes are offered at diploma, PG and doctoral level. GCP Panaji fee structure varies from course to course whereas M.Pharma fees for 2 years is Rs 1,72,000.
GCP Panaji Admissions are done based on the merit of previous qualifying exams and candidates may also qualify for JRF/ M.Phil/ GPAT/ GU-PET entrance tests for GCP Panaji selection criteria for their desired course. D.Pharma
A candidate must have Passed 12th std Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of a candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
B.Pharma
A candidate must have passed the Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
M.Pharma Pharmacognosy
A candidate desirous of joining the M. Pharm. course in the Goa College of Pharmacy should:
- Be an Indian National
- Have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination from Goa College of Pharmacy and /or Pharmacy Colleges in Goa or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and qualifying at the GPAT. However, as per guidelines provided in AICTE GPAT, All India Merit list with valid GPAT score are also eligible to apply.
- In the case of sponsored candidates : (i) a letter from the employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored so as to get admission and that the candidate will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the course and (ii) the research project to be proposed and fully funded by the sponsoring agency.
- In case of candidates with valid qualifying Degree from University other than Goa University, GPAT or GPAT qualified candidates will be considered for admission.
- Every student, selected for admission to postgraduate pharmacy course in any of the pharmacies the institution in the country should have obtained Registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be canceled.
M.Pharma Pharmacology
A candidate desirous of joining the M. Pharm. course in the Goa College of Pharmacy should:

Ph.D Pharmacy
Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated programme. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
A person whose M.Phil. dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme of the same Institution.
Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry
A candidate desirous of joining the M. Pharm. course in the Goa College of Pharmacy should:
