Golden College of Engineering and Technology, Gurdaspur, which was started in 2011 is an example of technical education in Punjab India. Located in a 10.475-acre plot of land this affiliated college has been contributing to the development of future engineers for well over a decade now. Consulted and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India, the Institute currently provides 16 courses in five programmes with cumulative student enrolment of 126 students. It has 53 dedicated members in the faculty which keep an enviable student-teacher ratio and ensure quality education.

The Golden College of Engineering and Technology owns various modern infrastructures that would improve the learning environment of the college students. , the most important store house of knowledge, it has more than three lacks reputed publishers books, thousands of magazine subscriptions and national and international journals and newspapers subscriptions. It also provides e-books and e-journals having keen interest towards the modern developments. Those who are interested in great physical workout, the college has installed modern facilities of a Gymnasium for this purpose. Admission process of Golden College of Engineering and Technology is very much reasonable and unbiased. For getting admissions in B.Tech programmes, the college accepts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), which is a centralized engineering entrance examination.
