Affiliated college which was started in the year 1973 is the Government College of Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh. Located on a thirty acre campus, this institution currently provides for a vast number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. NAAC accredited college ensuring the quality education is being imparted at the college to masses coming from different parts of country. Currently, the college has a total enrolment of 2,240 students and faculty of 41, and carries out its responsibility of maintaining an effective learning environment for pupils desiring to pursue higher education in different fields.

As an important element of academic facilities, library has a rich collection of 11500 textbooks, 4200 reference books, 95000 e-books and 6000 e-journals. The college also has boys hostel and girls hostel with total numbers of 99 and 108 beds respectively for out station student comfortable accommodation. Government College, Nalagarh today offers a total of twenty three subject combinations across ten degrees and diplomas programmes in order to meet the needs of all types of learners. The subjects of study include Arts Commerce and Sciences right from the initial classes to the Post Graduate level. Some of the most sorts after courses among the undergraduate include B.A –Political Science, History, Economics, and English, Bachelor of Commerce B.Com and B.Sc in physics, Chemistry, Botany, and mathematics.
