Government Degree College, Adilabad (GDC Adilabad) is a government college for higher learning that came into existence in the year 1957. This is an affiliated college Municipal, Shanthinagar Adilabad Telangana with tradition of moulding young generation for last sixty years. As a private college located in a 15-acre land, GDC Adilabad aims to provide its 1,136 students diverse undergraduate courses. It is accredited by the country’s premier accreditation organisation, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has a total of 19 well-qualified and experienced faculty members which includes 13 male and 6 female faculty members which make student teacher ratio healthy.

Government Degree College include library, laboratories, transport, computer and other facilities that GDC Adilabad has proved to provide in its quest to transform the learning ability of its students. College library stands as an information centre which provides a range of different types of books, periodicals and electronic sources. GDC Adilabad teaches seven programmes six of which are undergraduate programmes out of which six are offered in B.Com., B.B.A and BA degree programmes. All the courses are day programmes, aimed at providing the students with comprehensive understanding of chosen subjects and the practical training ground. The college comprises several streams that include Business and Commerce, Computers, and Arts with many options that can be taken under each course for instance B.Com, B.Sc, and B.A.
