Government Degree College Siddipet is a Karachi mode Education College situated in the district of Medak in the newly formed State of Telangana and was established in the year of 1956. This affiliated college comes under the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has various undergraduate/postgraduate levels and courses. Set across a large piece of land of 18.29 acres, the college has 3,563 students in total; 1,896 of them males and 1,667 females. This institution boasts of a faculty that consists of 103 members who offer 35 courses in 8 degree programmes.
The college has said its is keen on ensuring students receive their education in an environment that is conducive for learning and has great features. It has two distinct hostels, one for boys and the other for girls, so that students from different towns, cities or countries can have a comfortable place to stay. It is a fully developed library with reference section of books, magazine, newspaper and daily new papers, reading hall and separate section for competitive examinations, located in a two thousand square feet built up area. The college has laboratories required for each program offered including engineering laboratories for hands-on training. Students get to enjoy tremendous IT facilities; hence technician students develop their technical abilities.
