GEC Raipur established in 2006 at Sejbahar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is affiliated. The college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, offers quality education in various engineering disciplines. In 40.43 acres of the large campus there lays this GEC, Raipur, which offers 1-degree program with 5 undergraduate courses. The student enrolment is totally 1,222 with a faculty strength of 39.
The campus of GEC Raipur is fully fledged with the finest amenities. The central library hosts more than 52,000 books, 500 e-books, and e-journals related to diverse engineering disciplines. The whole admission process carried out at GEC Raipur is solely dependent on the scores obtained in Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The admission counseling is in the hands of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh. There is an All India Quota system in the institutions and greater priority is given to the candidates belonging to Chhattisgarh state domicile. If any seat is yet vacant, then it can be converted to other state quotas. Admission is being made on the basis of merit in PET or JEE examinations.
