Government First Grade College was established in 2007 at Kokatanur, is an affiliated college governing in Athani, Belagavi district of Karnataka. It is located in a restricted area of land of five acres and provides various undergraduate courses to the students. The college currently has a total enrolment of 273 students and a team of 23 dedicated faculty members We are an NAAC accredited college. To ensure it meets the needs of the learner, the college offers five unique programmes under three degree-bearing programmes based on academic interests and education goals.
Government First Grade College boasts of the available host of facilities aimed at improving the customer experience of the students. The library is an important information center where students have various resources, and all related to academic content. The college offers sporting infrastructure for those with sports and fitness interest in which creates balance between study and exercise. The college's curriculum spans across three main streams: Arts, Commerce, and Science. In the Arts stream, option combinations in the BA include History and Economics, History and Politics, History and Sociology or History, Sociology and Optional Kannada. For those who have an interest in Science Stream, the college provides B.Sc in option Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Aspiring commerce professionals can apply for B.Com programme. All these programmes are structured to take three years full time to achieve and make sure that the student acquires worthy education in the chosen subject area.
