Government First Grade Women’s College, Vijayanagara, was started in the year 2005 to stand as a symbol of higher education for women in Mysore, Karnataka. This affiliated college which occupies a relatively small land space of 1.13 acres has over the years been improving on the education of female student. The college has a student population of 833 and has a faculty of 16 strong which make the learning environment to be more intimate.
