Government Polytechnic, Achalpur was established in 1985 in Amravati district. The Government Polytechnic Achalpur provides diploma courses in the engineering domain. The college is located at the Nehru Maidan, Kandali Rd, Datta Nagar, Pensionpura, Achalpur, Paratwada, Maharashtra. One will have to board at Nagpur airport which is around 193 km away from the GP Achalpur. But the more convenient way to reach the institute is via train for which one will have to board at New Amravati which is only 54 km away from the institute.
