Government Women Polytechnic College is located at Bikaner, Rajasthan which came into existence in 1988-89 and the college aims to produce technically competent and employment oriented women engineers. The specialty of this GTM affiliated institute is that it offers four full time diploma courses each of three years duration. It offers these diploma courses; Diploma in Costume Design and Dress Making, Diploma in Textile Design, Diploma in Electronic Engineering, and Diploma in Robotics Engineering. Currently the college has total approved intake capacity of 140 students for all courses where for Costume Design and Dress Making and Textile Design the intake capacity is 40, for Electronic Engineering and Robotics Engineering it is 30 each. This diverse nature of the programs enable students to call for a field of their choice in order to specialisations as per their dreams.
