Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2008 at Nagpur, Maharashtra. It is a quality-oriented institution that maintains excellent standards for education. The GWCET trust is a quality-oriented institution that maintains high standards for education. This affiliated college campus spreads over an area of 10.3 acres that provides different streams of engineering and management courses. This college is National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited. It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. It has a total of 1,186 students and faculty strength of 22. A place where vision for academic excellence and personal development can be achieved.
Govindrao Wanjari College has numerous amenities that go well with the educational vision. Its library occupies 588.544 square meters area, comprising a stock of 18,586 productive books with titles of 3,527 along with journals, magazines, and newspapers from within and outside the country. The students also have at their disposal the facility of OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) and an open access internet section. State-of-the-art computer labs are available on the campus, with high-speed internet connectivity of 10 Mbps through an IBM server. Sports lovers will have volleyball, cricket, badminton, and athletic facilities along with indoor games such as carom and chess. The college also has hostels exclusively for boys and girls, with attached bathrooms, study tables, and dining halls, so that students can have a comfortable place to stay.
GWCET offers 10 courses across 3 degree levels: BE/BTech, MBA, and Diploma. Programmes are offered in engineering and management through regular programmes at the B.Tech, BE, MBA, and Diploma level. GWCET had a sanctioned intake of a total 660 seats in various specialisations. The courses offered are B. Tech Information Technology, BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, BE Electrical Engineering, BE Civil Engineering, MBA, and a number of diplomas in branches of engineering.

The entrance to GWCET is undertaken following an all-inclusive pattern strictly on merit basis. The institution takes marks from national or state-level entrance exams for admission to engineering courses, such asJEE Main or MHT CET. Candidates who aspire to pursue an MBA apply for MAH MBA CET. By conducting the entrance exams at the national and state level, the institute brings talent to the campus from all over the country.
