Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science and Commerce was founded in 1937 by Dr B R Ambedkar. The institution, also known as Guru Nanak Khalsa College or Khalsa College Mumbai, received recognition from the University Grants Commission in 1974. Additionally, the UGC has acknowledged the GN Khalsa College Mumbai as a Potential for Excellence.
Guru Nanak Khalsa College is recognised by the Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) and affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai. Khalsa College Mumbai offers various undergraduate courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BMM, BMS, and B.Sc M.Sc. Additionally, they also provide postgraduate courses including MA, M.Sc, and M.Com in different fields. The B.Com programme offers specialisations in Financial Market, Banking and Insurance, and Accounting and Finance. On the other hand, The M.Com program offers specialisations in Business Management, Advanced Accountancy, and E-Commerce.
Admission to Khalsa College Mumbai for UG and PG courses is based on merit. For UG admission, class 12 scores are considered, while for PG courses, graduation scores are taken into account. To get admitted to the Ph.D course, candidates must pass an interview- UGC NET/ SET/ PET/GATE. The campus of GN Khalsa College Mumbai is wifi-enabled and offers facilities like library, canteen, sports facilities and more.

The nearest railway station to GN Khalsa College is Matunga Road station on the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. From there, candidates can take a bus or cab.

MA Hindi
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.A. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern of the University of Mumbai or any other recognized University.
BA
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
B.Com
A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
M.Com Advanced Accountancy
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Com. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
M.Com Business Management
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Com. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.

B.Com Accounting and Finance Self Finance
A candidate, for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Finance) degree course shall have passed XII std. examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate at first attempt (40% in case of reserved category).
Every candidate admitted to the Degree course in the constituent / affiliated college, recognized institution, conducting the course, shall have to register himself/herself with the University.
B.Com Banking and Insurance Self Finance
A candidate, for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Finance) degree course shall have passed XII std. examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate at first attempt (40% in case of reserved category).
