Hi-Tech Polytechnic College is a self-financing technical institution situated at Samugarangapuram in Tirunelveli District of Tamilnadu started in the year 2010. This is co-educational institute having affiliation of state board and AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education. Hi-Tech Polytechnic College is a large college spread over a technologically vast campus of 120 acres and has 331 students with an impressive range of diploma courses. The college currently has 48 faculty members who are competent enough to support the small class size and maintain the student-teacher ratio. At present there are 7 courses offered and 1 degree type, Engineering in Various fields such as Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Marine and Computer Science Engineering and BHM &CT.

Hi-Tech Polytechnic College has pledged to deliver a range, of learning facilities to complement its students’ learning needs and a number of these are highlighted below. There are equipped laboratories for each department so that students could gain practical experience. A large hall that has many books is sectioned into different parts as a university library that provides various and many resources for the students and scholars. 

The college possesses strong IT backup that ensures the students have a smooth class experience. In physical properly of the student interest, the institute provides a number of sports facility. The campus also comprises a specific independent hostel for the male and female students and has the capacity to accommodate one thousand and two hundred twenty and four hundred fifty five students respectively.
