IIMT New Delhi or the Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law, Delhi was set up in the year 1999. A co-educational institute at the centre of Delhi, it has emerged as a leading contender in the field of management and legal study. It has approval from teh Bar Council of India (BCI) and accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), IIMT New Delhi works as an affiliated college and provides multiple programmes. Spread over a mere 0.52 acres land, it has a total student strength of 1023 and has 41 faculty members. IIMT New Delhi Business School offers 7 courses across 3 degrees in Business Administration, Computer Applications and Laws which makes us an all-round institute for professional education.
IIMT New Delhi provides numerous facilities that help a student to expand his/her learning ability. Campus is enabled with wireless internet to afford student maximum access to electronic materials. The college library, an information centre, has a collection of 11332 books and back volumes and 15 national and 2 international journal subscriptions. The students are also privileged to access to Manupatra believed to be India’s largest online legal systems. The institute possesses one of the computer laboratory facilities equipped with modern technology for a group of one hundred students. The institute has well equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 400 e-conditioned with over head projector and mini auditorium is also available to accommodate the small gatherings. The moot court facility, common to other established law school, affords the aspiring lawyer firsthand-evaluation of the courtroom. Also, there are sports amenities, sports complex, gym, and a canteen which encourage campus life.
There are seven full- time course programmes being offered by IIMT New Delhi in a broad spectrum. These are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), BBA in Computer Aided Management, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and the Integrated course in BA LLB. These courses are available in both day and second shift for effectiveness in serving different students’ needs. The overall capacity for all courses which have been approved is 360 students, and capacities for courses vary from 45 to 60 places. These diverse programmes are a clear reflection of the institute’s objective of offering quality education in management, technological as well as legal education.
The admission process of IIMT New Delhi are done based on the merit and entrance examination of the respective courses. In the case of admissions to management and computer application programmes, the rank in IPU CET (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is considered. The Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is a national level entrance examination for aspiring law students admitted to the five year integrated B.A LLB programme. BA LLB Integrated
- The Candidate should Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
- The aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects including English and compulsory subject(s) if any.
BBA
