Indian Institute of technical training School of nursing Samba, which was established in 2009 and it is situated in Kartholi Dassal Bari Brahamna Jammu. This school is a co-educational and occupies total area of 3 acres of land and provides the following types of nursing programmes. The institute which has strength of 185 students enrolment and has faculty of 15 members ensures a competitive learning experience to the students and faculty of health care industry. Currently, the institute teaches two flagship nursing courses and offers three diplomas to cater for all the different areas in the health sector.

A good library is one which is well stocked and still has a spacious aisle for reading and contains books, journals, and different magazines. The it facilities include a computer laboratory with networking facilities in which students can get free certification courses especially in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and browsing. Transport facility is also available with pick and drop from Kala Gate SIDCO to Panjtirthi through Satwari on daily basis.
The Indian Institute of Technical Trainings School of Nursing, Samba has in all only five courses – two full time courses in nursing including the B. Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing and three diplomas. The GNM course takes three years while the ANM course takes two years. Further, it provides diploma in Nutrition and Health Education, Early Child and Education and Nursing Administration.
