This is the Indira Gandhi Training College in Ernakulam whish was set up in the year 2005 ad and is one of the largest teacher training institutions established in Nellikuzhi, Kothamangalam, Kerala. This is a co–educational college affiliated to NCTE and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education which ensures provision of quality teacher education. Located in Ernakulam district of Kerala the college provides a favorable ambience for budding teachers to develop their ability and ideas.

Indira Gandhi Training College also prides in having a host of physical structures that are within the college to support learning.
