IET Agra is the abbreviated form of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, which was established in 1998. This affiliated college, under the aegis of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, is located at Paliwal Park, Agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This institute offers different programs in engineering and technology, having been approved by AICTE. The institute has 3 dedicated educators, hence proving the commitment towards quality education.
IET Agra provides a great variety of facilities to its students. The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls, fully furnished with proper lighting, ventilation, and availability of security 24 hours a day. At the Khandari Campus, the girls' hostel can accommodate approximately 100 students. The library of this institute is the center of learning and research. It is well-stacked with a plethora of information, which serves as a very vital source for academics. Simultaneously, sports facilities are available for the physical development of the students, which complements their mental development. The whole campus is installed with the latest IT infrastructure and is fully Wi-Fi enabled, thereby giving the students high-speed internet access throughout the campus. Many laboratories are available to meet the departmental requirements and help in practical learning. Other facilities provided within the campus include an on-campus Allahabad Bank, a cafeteria with fresh and hygienic food, a well-equipped and fully A.C. seminar hall with a capacity to accommodate 100 people for various academic and cultural activities.
Courses offered by this institution are pretty wide-ranging in nature. There are four BE programs, one MCA, one M.Sc in Computer Science, and one PGDCA. All the six courses are full-time programs, wherein the BE courses run for four years, the MCA and M.Sc programs for two and three years respectively, while the PGDCA is a one-year course. The approved total intake for these courses is 330 students annually.

Its admission procedure is different from one program to another. For the BE Programs and MCA, the basis for admission is usually the UPTU Entrance Test. The Candidate should Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
PGDCA
A candidate must have passed Graduation with Maths, Computer Science, and BCA.
BE Electronics and Communication Engineering
The Candidate should Pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. They have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the above subjects. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
BE Computer Science Engineering
