Ispat Autonomous College Rourkela was set up in the year 1978 It is one of the well know institutes situated at Ved Vihar, Sector-16 Rourkela, Odisha. This affiliated college spread over 5 acres of land has received accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has student enrolment capacity of 1667 and has faculty of 100 with 15 courses spread across eight programmes. It specialises in offering Commerce, Arts, and Science education for honor’s as well as pass courses for students with diverse preference and career goals.

Ispat Autonomous College has numerous boosters created to facilitate the college learning and development of students. The library, an essential element of any learning institution, has a collection of more than twenty three thousand books, and it offers the college thirty two journals some of which are internationals such as the ‘Scientific American’. It also has a book bank to serve disadvantaged economically needy students. On a practical level, the college has provided functional laboratories for various departments for practical exercises.

It’s an undergraduate college and offers full time in commerce, arts, and science faculties of studying.
