Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), was started in the year 1999 is one of the well-known college imparting education in Ayurveda. Kendeda College of Education for Women is situated at Bantalab, Jammu and its a co-educational institute under the affiliation of Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). For the BAMS program, candidates have to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
