Janata College Boinda was established in 1978, is an affiliated college present in Boinda, Odisha. It has a ‘lands cape ‘ area of 25.74 acres and encompasses different undergraduate programs. Affiliated to Karnatak University, Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Janata college has its own distinctive identity in the region. As at now the total enrolment of the college stands at 443 students while its faculty comprises 31 members, thus the college ensures a proper environment for learning is provided. The institution provides 12 courses in 4 degree programs with focus on arts and sciences.

This college has several amenities aimed at improving students’ learning institutions in several ways. The college has multimedia facility, and a 1600 sq.ft library with reading room facility to accommodate 25 students, besides books and journals. In terms of information technology the library also provides computer and broadband Internet facilities. For science students, the college has equipped laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, for each of them there is served by a demonstrator and a laboratory orderly. This is through a facility, the ICT centre, with 9 computer systems with LAN and broadband to enhance the students technological learning.
