Situated in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1967. It has spacious campus of 1.95 acres and is an affiliated college with diverse 27 courses in 9 degrees. The total enrolment of students for the institution is 3,618, while the faculty strength amounts to 46, therefore providing a good ambiance for learning. The college is accredited by NAAC, which assures quality in education.

The institute has numerous amenities for the academic and personal development of students. The college library houses nearly fifty thousand volumes and subscribes to about 85 journals, thereby being a beneficial resource for research and study.
