Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung, which is a young college founded in the year 2015 located in Mokokchung, Nagaland, India. Set at the Mission Compound of Aongza Ward, this college has assumed an important place in the college education system in Mokokchung within a short span of time. As the college has now been able to admit a total of 215 students and has 17 faculties, the class sizes are small that leave ample interaction between students and faculties. The institution today has 5 undergraduate programmes that cut under the Bachelor of Arts (BA) stream with areas of specialisations in History, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, and English.
The College has been established to afford equal opportunities for learning and development of the student. At the heart of its academic resources is a well-equipped library, open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. This facility contains textbooks and references arranged to effectively serve as a reading area. Students are encouraged to read book from this resource, calling for books and carrying out quiet tasks. Computer facilities and wireless internet access are available in the campus to help learners and all other school stakeholders make good use of the available online learning resources to support their learning and staying connected during online learning.
Jubilee Memorial College at present has five full time courses of study for the award of BA (Hons) each having a duration of three years. Some of these degree courses are BA History Honours, BA Sociology Honours, BA Political Science Honours, BA Economics Honours and BA English Honours. Each of the five programs is intended to impart broad subject area knowledge in the respective discipline, and to ready students for additional coursework or career opportunities.
