The institute has several facilities to enrich its learning environment and all-round development. Its library—a learning resource centre—has about 20,000 books and periodicals, including 5,600 volumes, 24 national and international journals, 7 magazines, and 5 newspapers, in addition to educational CBTs and encyclopedias. The fully air-conditioned computer lab, supported with the latest software and hardware such as C, C++, Java, Oracle, and various operating systems, helps the students get themselves ready for the challenges of the software industry. JVMGRR provides hands-on learning facilities. It also offers a health concern to the students where it has a health center with qualified doctors to provide primary care and also holds a large stadium for several sports activities including cricket, badminton, table tennis, football, and volleyball.
