Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy was founded in the year 1999 as a constituent college under the aegis of Subhartipuram University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Being housed on NH-58, Delhi-Haridwar Bypass Road, it is an institute par excellence in the arena of physiotherapy education. The faculty comprises 15 members, and the courses offered in this particular stream are quite varied. The college has specialized programs at all three degree levels, with 8 courses that provide specialization in many aspects of physiotherapy. 

It also meets to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies. In the established campus with facilities, there is ensured a better learning experience with facilities, taking care of the overall well-being of students. The students have a state-of-the-art library of around 230 books containing most of the relevant resources needed for the academic purpose of the students. The well-equipped laboratories comprise all modern equipment for exercise therapy and electrotherapy, thereby offering practical exposure to the students on the latest techniques and modalities of physiotherapy. There is also a round-the-clock on-campus medical facility with a dental hospital and ambulance services available in case of any unforeseen medical emergency. The in-campus multi-cuisine cafeteria facility and the Wi-Fi campus help the students to a large extent in having seamless connectivity in the pursuit of academic and research needs.

Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy offers a total of 8 courses, including full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The undergraduate programmes are the corner stone programme, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and at the graduate level, is offered as Master of physiotherapy with specializations in Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary Conditions, Sports physiotherapy, Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology. The college also conducts a Ph.D. Programme in Physiotherapy for those who wish to do research work. Total sanctioned intake of all the courses combined is 145 students. Out of all these, the BPT course holds the maximum number of 100 seats.

The Admission process at Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy is basically merit-based for most of its programs. However, the undergraduate BPT course and other MPT specializations include admissions based on the academic merit of the students. They require the college to conduct its entrance examination at the Ph.D. level in Physiotherapy. Rather appropriate, it consists of a written test to be succeeded by an interview process.
