Kalipada Ghosh Tarai Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated rural college at Bagdogra, West Bengal, started in 1988. It stands on compact 2.22 acres of campus, spread out and developing into a hub of learning. This institution offers a gamut of courses 14 in total under 6 degree programmes to a strong student body of 4,493 enrolment.
The college boasts well-equipped facilities that are in consonance with a holistic learning environment. The hub of all academic resource is the College Library; which keeps on increasing its stock to cater to the changing needs of students and staff alike. Library also provides for a reading room, a place to study without any noise. The impressing infrastructural facilities are given to the sports and physically fit students, and actively participate in state-level competitions in sports like football, athletics, cricket, and volleyball. Other modern amenities on the campus are also provided with Wi-Fi connectivity to make the students connected and updated in using digital resources.
Kalipada Ghosh Tarai Mahavidyalaya provides a complete bouquet of undergraduate programs to aspiring students. In all, there are 14 courses, inclusive of full-time degree programs on offer in the streams of Arts, Commerce, and Science.
