The Kamdar Nursing College is situated in Rajkot, Gujarat and was set up in 2011. This affiliated college of the university offers specialisation in nursing education which has been approved by the Indian Nursing Council. The college covers an area of 4 acres with 436 learners and 51 staff members as teachers. Kamdar Nursing College provides two full-time nursing programs: B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course, which means helping aspiring nurses realize their dreams.
College has provided different amenities to make studying here more comfortable. The students residing on campus can accommodate comfortably within the Boys and Girls Hostel available for the Kamdar Nursing College. Other facilities here include a fully equipped library which serves as the information centre for students’ academic activities. The health of the people is also maintained through the provision of an in-house medical facility provided with the first aid service. A sports facility and a gym will be available for the students to ensure that they are able to meet their physical needs. Kamdar Nursing College offers two major nursing courses as part of its curriculum. The B.Sc. Nursing course and the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course both are full and the total intake capacity for B.Sc. Nursing course is 40 students and for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing full time is 20 students and the duration is four and two years respectively.

GNM
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
- Registered ANM with a pass mark.
ANM
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
- The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
- The student shall be medically fit.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
- Student shall be admitted once in a year.
B.Sc Nursing
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Minimum education:
- 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Students shall be medically fit.
- Students appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
- Students shall be admitted once a year.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
- Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.
- Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with the State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration instead of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

- Ophthalmic Nursing
- Leprosy Nursing
- TB Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing
- Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Cancer Nursing
- Orthopedic Nursing
- Candidates shall be medically fit.
- Students shall be admitted once a year.
