About Kenway College of Education, Abohar: Kenway College of Education is one of the leading institutes in ninety percent of it’s education area located in Punjab, India, and it was founded in 2007. For preparatory programme, B.Ed has intake capacity of 200, M.Ed and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) have intake capacity of 50 each. These ones are to prepare the students with the right skills and knowledge to enable him or her to pursue a teaching profession.

Kenway College of Education only admits students on the basis of the marks scored by students in their qualifying exams and entrance tests. Admission for the B.Ed. programme is done under the section of the state government policy and university norms. The choices in the case of the M.Ed. programme are also made depending upon the quantitative score in the qualifying examination or entrance test. The admission in the D.El.Ed. course depends upon the qualifying examination and entrance test.

B.Ed
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
M.Ed
Candidates seeking Admission to the M.Ed. program should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programs.
(i) B.Ed
(ii) BA B.Ed, B.Sc. B.Ed
(iii) B.El.Ed
(iv) D.El.Ed with an undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in each)
D.El.Ed
- The proposed number of seats for this course is 50.
- The duration of the course is Two years divided into two years.
- The minimum qualification for admission is 12th in any discipline of any recognized university with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
- The minimum number of marks to pass the examination in each semester is-
- 35% in each paper in the University as well as jointly with internal assessment
- 35% in the seminar, project, and viva voce;
- 50% in the aggregate of I and II above.
