Kishore Bharati Bhagini Nivedita College was established in the year 2001. It is a collegiate entity, affiliated and located in Behala, Kolkata. The college offers a variety of undergraduate courses spread across 1.6 acres of campus area. In total, it has 1,010 students enrolled, out of which 24 are faculty members. Thus, this maintains a pretty good student to faculty ratio. Within the institution, there are 13 courses in 6 degree programs offered, its focus being on Arts, Science, and Commerce.
The institution commits to providing an enabling learning environment through the setting up of various facilities that promote both academic and personal growth for its students. First, the library is well-stocked in order to guarantee access to all manner of resources helpful in academics. In addition, the institution has maintained well-set-up departmental laboratories for students majoring in science courses. IT has a very strong infrastructure that caters to the present technology needs of the students in relation to their studies. A Wi-Fi network across campus keeps the students connected and promotes e-learning. Even the health of the students is looked after by the college through regular health checkups and blood group detection camps. Refreshment and socializing are catered to by the canteen selling food at reasonable rates. Besides, sports faculties are also provided for the students who are more interested in keeping their bodies fit.
In all, Kishore Bharati Bhagini Nivedita College offers 13 full-time undergraduate courses. These streams are provided in arts, science and commerce for the various academic interest of many people. The total intake capacity is 720.
