KLB DAV College for Girls is a leading educational institution situated in the Kkangra district of Himachal Pradesh and was started in year 1969. This affiliated college, located in a 5.26 acre area, has a student strength of 700 students and provides a wide selection of such undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It has NAAC accreditation and NCTE and AICT actions education approvals and recognition for the same. The college comprises of 52 faculty members and offers 9 courses in various fields which gives a student spanning education to the all-female student population.
KLB DAV College for Girls is dedicated to the premise that students must be protected, and it provides a number of amenities for them. The admission procedures of the KLB DAV College for Girls are different for different courses. For degree programmes such as BBA, and BCA, intimation is done based on merit by adding the marks scored in the qualifying examination. B.Ed programme adopts a more formal procedure of admitting its students with the criterion depending on the merit of the qualifying examination/entrance test as prescribed by the state government and the university respectively.

BA

No candidate with a compartment in 10+2 will given admission. DSC identified would not be changed unless the student quits a program and joins a new program.
MA History
A Bachelor's degree with at least second division in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject or Honors in the subject of study for MA for SC /ST candidates, the eligibility will be 45% in aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or Honors in the subject of study for MA.
MA Hindi
A Bachelor's degree with at least second division in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject or Honors in the subject of study for MA for SC /ST candidates, the eligibility will be 45% in aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or Honors in the subject of study for MA.
M.Com
Degree from a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% Marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
B.Com

Candidates who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 final examination with any subject under 10+2 system or an examination equivalent thereto of a board/university established by law in India and considered equivalent by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category) are eligible for admission, or any examination, of University/Board/College/School in a foreign country recognized as equivalent for the above purpose by equivalence committee of its own or on the recommendation of association of Indian University with 50% marks (45% marks of SC/ST Category) at 10+2 standard.
Age Limit-The maximum age limit for the BCA course is 23 years on 1st July of the year concerned, provided that in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST, the upper age limit will be raised by three years, provided further that the Vice-Chancellor shall have the powers to permit age relaxation for a reason to be recorded in writing up to a maximum of three months.
MCA
The Candidate should pass the minimum eligibility for the course is any Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST) Mathematic in +2/BCA/B.Sc(IT)
Age Limit - The maximum age limit is 28 years (29 years in the case of SC/ST candidates) as of the first July of the year concerned.
B.Ed
The eligibility criteria are set by the University on the basis of marks obtained in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com.,Post-Graduation examination of any recognized university.
BBA
