KMCT Law college which started from the year 2013 is being an affiliated college situated at the KMCT campus, Kuttipuram, Valanchery, Malappuram, Kerala state. The full form of these courses is yet unknown, but the BCI approved institution offers the following three professional courses in law: Located in an area of 5.16 acres, KMCT Law College has a strength of 537 students and 34 faculty members are available. The college consists in co-education making it easy for the school to embrace the policy of diversity. As a premier institute in arbitrary law, it deals mainly in legal education for the aspiring students in law and related careers and courses include BBA LLB, LLB and B.Com LLB.
Education infrastructure at KMCT Law College is also fully equipped to meet the need and development of the students. The hostels provided for students are gender based that come along with facet that ranges from hygienic food, clean rooms, recreational facilities among others. College library has a rich collection of 5600 books and 50 journals, both print as well as the latest online law journals for the college students and faculty. Being fully equipped, this moot court hall enables students to practice advocacy skills through inter-class and prepares them to compete in state level and national moot court competitions. The college also owns a cafeteria, indoor games facilities for sports and an auditorium for functions and seminars. Further more the institution provides transport facilities like college buses to Kuttippuram and Valancherry etc.
At present, the institute is offering three full-time law courses; for which there are 300 seats in total. The courses offered includes BBA LLB, BCom LLB, LLB and the intakes of BBA LLB and BCom LLB are 120 students each and the LLB course is 60 students per batch. Such courses are intended to offer a complete course in law embracing both the academic and the professional parts. The college considered serving quality education to ensure that their students are equipped with knowledge considering the different course offering under law; students are prepared to venture into different areas of practice in the legal field.
KMCT Law College admission process determines admissions of the students mainly through the Kerala Law Entrance Examination also known as KLEE. This entrance exam is an important factor when applying for admission into the college for the various programmes in law. For the relevant courses the institute also takes into account the LLB 3-year entrance exam.
