KS polytechnic is the wide campus located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was started in the year of 1992. This institution, affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has emerged as one of premier institution of technical study. Students of the KS Polytechnic can take a wide selection of diploma programmes in engineering divisions across a vast area of 7 acres. This institute caters to the student strength of 575, and the institute has a 29-faculty member strength, which results in a better student-teacher ratio. In clear terms, the polytechnic offers five diploma courses under one degree programme offering a range of engineering disciplines in order to satisfy the student and industry requirement.
The institute has various amenities that were established to provide improved educational environment for the students enrolled in the institute. Being a periodicals library with collection of nearly 1800 titles and over 9000 volumes, the library buys several technical journals and is equipped with a fully automated management system. KS Polytechnic also has access to required and appropriate departmental laboratories for practical learning. The computer labs contain necessary applications, which include Winxp2, Red Hat Linux ver. 5, and JDK 1.6. For the Full development of the college, it has exhaustive sports facilities and also an auditorium for other related activities. The institute also has different hostels for boys and girls and the accommodation is affordable with a homelike atmosphere with discipline. To enhance transport of students from other areas, the polytechnic has its own buses, which are charged at token fares.
KS Polytechnic has a total of five full-time diploma courses and all these courses take three years to complete. These programmes are intended to give students a solid grounding in their areas of interest so that they can be productive employees in the increasingly complex technological environment.
