Kumaran Polytechnic College was established in 2012 and is a growing technical college situated in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college approved by AICTE New Delhi offers number of diploma courses in engineering streams. The college occupies a total area of 7.2 acres of land making it technically suitable for technical colleges. Kumaran Polytechnic College managing 323 students in total and 39 faculty members make the focus of providing special consideration for every student and delivering quality education. Diploma in Civil Engineering
(A) A pass in Class X or its equivalent examination with 45% in each of the subjects with Science and Mathematics student must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class X.
(B) 10+2 (vocational) pass students/ITI pass students can get admission in the second year.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
(A) (i)The candidate should have 10th pass with 55 percent marks; or
(ii) 10th pass with ITI certificate; or
(iii) 10th pass with Certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) of IGNOU; or
(iv) 12th pass with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
(B) Candidates should be employed in Central or State-level manufacturing industries or in public or private manufacturing industries or in other related organizations employing similar manpower or self-employed in equivalent capacity.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
(A)The candidate should Pass in Class X or its equivalent examination with 35% in each of the subjects with Science and Mathematics.
(B) The student must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class X.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering
(A) The candidate should Pass in Class X or its equivalent examination with 35% in each of the subjects with Science and Mathematics.

Diploma in Computer Engineering
