Kuntala Kumari Sabat Women’s College, Balasore abbreviated as K.K.S. is one of the reputed women’s college in Odisha. This affiliated college was set up in the year 1960, and it is located in Balasore – the coastal city of Odisha. Situated in a small plot of land measuring 3 acres, K.K.S has beenwomen education institution for more than half a century. The college currently offering 21 courses across 4 degrees for 730 learners and supervised by 30 members of staff among them faculty members. K.K.S has NAAC certification something that should proud of its self for producing quality education.
Kuntala Kumari Sabat Women’s College boast of a number of facilities that can in one way or the other complement the education needs of the college students, or so it would seem. The college library is at the central of the campus with a collection estimate to nearly 47000 books in many fields of study. Swarawadhanya girls hostel is a three storied building which can accommodate one hundred and twenty students which ensure out-station students get a safer and comfortable accommodation. For owners of sporting spirit, the college has a multi-gym for athletics and gymnastics for those interested in loosing body mass. The campus includes modern equipped practical laboratories, a covered auditorium for holding various events, seminars, etc., and a university canteen. There are games facilities both indoor and outside to meet the need of avid sports lovers. This college has a health center which mainly offer first aid services since the health of students is very important.
