L&T Institute of Technology, Mumbai, was established in 1983, located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a perceived affiliated college providing specifically diploma in Engineering field. The college provides its students with specialized diploma courses and qualified skills because the requirements of the industrial sectors are changing very fast. In a state-of-the-art learning environment with an intake of 46 students, paying emphasis on practical skills and industry-oriented knowledge, the institute serves the need of the students. Currently, the L and T Institute of Technology manages three full-time diploma courses, each course being of three years' duration: Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute offers a number of facilities for effective learning for its students. 

The library has a reading hall with a capacity for 90 to enable access by its students to a bank of learning resources as well as provide a quiet study area. The college provides sports facilities and a well-equipped gym for the fitness enthusiasts. The IT infrastructure is very good, and students get the latest technology in their studies. Many department-based laboratories are also present in the institution, giving that experience, which is a critical part of engineering studies. There is also an auditorium for conducting events and seminars, which adds value to campus life. A canteen serves all the food needs of the staff and students inside the campus. 

The curriculum offered in L&T Institute of Technology is tailored to suit the expectations of the engineering industry. These vary from the Diploma in Computer Engineering and the Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication to the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
