About Started in the year 2006, the Lord Krishna College of Education is situated in Ambala, Haryana. This is a co-educational institution exclusively granted the approval of an affiliated college from NCTE. LKCOE is situated in a compact 1-acre campus. The total number of students at LKCOE is 231, with a faculty member strength of 11 which maintains focussed learning atmosphere. The LKCOE offers two degree programs specifically for educator-aspirants: B.Ed. and D.Ed.

LKCOE has all kinds of facilities to make students' learn. The library consists of 7,790 books, 20 national and international journals, and an assorted number of reference materials. The students are provided with an indoor and outdoor facility for sports to maintain their physical strength along with the growing academics. The IT infrastructure at the college is in place to support modern learning methodologies, and the multi-purpose auditorium is very handy to conduct assemblies, cultural events, and seminars. The college also maintains a cafeteria, medical room, transportation services, and highly equipped laboratories. 

There are two full-time programs conducted at Lord Krishna College of Education in the education sector. The duration provided for each stand-alone program at the college is two academic years. The college focuses only on teacher training. 

At Lord Krishna College of Education, the only criteria for admission is through the merit norms proposed by the state government, the UT administration, and the university concerned. In B.Ed courses, merit of students shall be decided on the marks scored in the qualifying examination or based on the performance in entrance tests. Correspondingly, into D.Ed courses, admissions are made through a merit system, utilizing marks scored in the qualifying exam or at the entrance as per state government policy.
