Pattuvam based Lourde Institute of Allied Health Science is a affiliated college started from 2011. Located on the land of 7 acres, it offers education in allied health sciences. The institute provides an air-tight principle of first come first served as it has admitted 136 students and consisting 13 members of faculty.
The institute has various amenities for the learning and development of the students. The library acts as student reference center by providing all kinds of books and journals most especially related to the students’ area of specialization. The present course offered by Lourde Institute of Allied Health Science is a one–year full time course under the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). This type of program spans four years and aims at offering the student with adequate knowledge as well as skills in physiotherapy. The intake of students for this course has been approved at a maximum of 50 students that which is procedurally good for the institute in maintaining good student faculty ratio for quality student-staff interaction.

BPT
The Candidates seeking admission to the BPT program (4 1/2 years) should have completed 17 years of age, as of the 31st December of the year of admission.
Students with a Science background (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology) at the 10+2/ equivalent level can only opt for a career in Physiotherapy. The candidate should secure 50% marks in each of these subjects as well as in English
The candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to the Principal of the Institution, a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized government medical officer to the effect that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the course
