Mahamaya IT Polytechnic, Maharajganj (MMIT Polytechnic Maharajganj) is a government polytechnic college affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh and approved by All India Council for Higher Education (AICTE). The list of courses offered by the MMIT Polytechnic Maharajganj includes Diploma in engineering programmes in computer science and engineering, electrical engineering and electronics engineering branches. 

Admissions are done on the basis of the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam Polytechnic (JEECUP) conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Lucknow.
