Maharaja Manindra Chandra College was established in the year 1941 and is one of the most celebrated colleges, which are at the heart of Kolkata, West Bengal. The affiliated college situated near the Shyam bazar Metro station has been nurturing young minds since its inception that goes back more than eight decades. The total strength of student enrolment is 2,783, and the faculty strength is 47, hence ensuring a very good ratio for personalised attention and quality education.
The facilities in Maharaja Manindra Chandra College range from modern to state-of-the-art, helping in the process of delivering academic activities. This would start first with having a well-stocked library comprising almost 45,000 books and subscriptions to 15 types of periodicals. The library is fully Wi-Fi enabled, so the students and faculty can easily access the e-resources.
