Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Management Studies and Research, abbreviated MGMIMSR, is a premier management institution situated in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, established in the year 1994. This affiliated college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education. The compact 0.5-acre campus is situated in educational hub Kamothe. MGMIMSR has an emphasis on the curriculum with one degree programme and a total student enrolment of 95. The faculty strength is at 6 dedicated educators who ensure that students get personal attention.
The institute has a digital library which can be claimed to be one of the best in management research. It has around more than 16,000 books, 1,350 titles, and 150 bound volumes of national and international journals. In addition, it offers access to J-Gate and EBSCO databases and a dedicated e-Library section with 15 workstations. In addition, for practical learning, MGMIMSR has provided a fully air-conditioned computer laboratory comprising 300 computers with 24-hour internet connectivity. Master of Management Studies (MMS) is one of the major academic courses at MGMIMSR. It is a two year full-time course that is specifically designed to instill knowledge and acumen to lead successfully in the fast-changing business management world. The intake for this programme is 60 students and is reflective of the institute's emphasis on optimum student-to-faculty ratio.

Admission to MGMIMSR is given by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. Students are admitted purely based on the performance mainly throughMAH-MBA-CET, however, the institute also accepts scores from other reputed management entrance tests like CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, and GMAT. Such a flexible approach helps MGMIMSR attract a heterogeneous group of talented applicants from every nook and corner of the country.

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate-
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
ii) Passed a minimum three-year duration Bachelor's Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or it's equivalent OR Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline.
iii) Obtained non-zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019).
(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates-
i)The Candidate should be an Indian National;
ii) Passed a minimum Three-years duration Bachelor's Degree awarded by the University recognized by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or it's equivalent;
iii) Obtained non-zero positive scores in one of the following examinations: CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019), Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (CAT), Common Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (CMAT) Graduate Management Aptitude Test Conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council, United States of America(GMAT), Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Management Association (MAT), Entrance Test for Management Admissions conducted by The Association of Indian Management Schools (ATMA), Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur (XAT), valid for admissions during the Academic year.
